Cross country teams release 2010 schedules
The Fontbonne University men’s and women’s cross country teams have released its 2010 schedule featuring trips to Tennessee and Kentucky.
The Griffins will open their season on September 4 in the Forest Park Early Bird Meet in St. Louis. Later in the month, Sept. 26th, the teams will travel to Memphis, Tennessee to compete in the Rhodes Invitational. Fontbonne opens October out of the state again participating in the Louisville Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
Fontbonne will compete locally in the Maryville Invitational on Sept. 11th and the College of Pharmacy Invitational on Oct. 23rd. Both teams will attempt to continue their success in the conference when the compete in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) meet on Oct. 30th in Hillsboro, Illinois.
The Fontbonne men’s team is two-time defending SLIAC champions while the women’s team has finished second in the SLIAC the past two seasons.
