Senior breaks career digs record
Fontbonne Universtity senior volleyball defensive specialist Megan Simon has broken the school record for most career digs.
In her four-year career, Simon has tallied 1,853 career digs. Simon broke the previous record of 1,770 held by Sarah Heger. Simon has recorded over 340 digs in each of her four seasons at Fontbonne. During her sophomore year, Simon recorded 596 digs.
Simon will have a chance to add to her total as the Griffins have advanced to the SLIAC Tournament. Fontbonne, the #4 seed, will play #1 seed and conference champion Webster University on Saturday at 2 pm at Webster.
