Fontbonne began baseball in 1995 with the team competing in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC). Since that time, Fontbonne has appeared in three NCAA Tournaments.
The Griffins have claimed SLIAC Championships in 1998 and 2003, and won the SLIAC Tournament in 1998 and 2008. Fontbonne earned trips to the NCAA Tournament in 1998, 2003 and 2008.
Fontbonne travels the Midwest Region playing a challenging schedule that features nationally and regionally ranked teams. Each year, Fontbonne spends their Spring Break in Florida playing some of the toughest NCAA Div. III opponents.
The Griffins play their home games at Shaw Park in Clayton, MO.
