Men's Lacrosse Coach - Nick Silva
Nick Silva is entering his 5th year as Fontbonne's Head Men's Lacrosse Coach. In those five seasons, Silva has complied a record of 20-30 including a 4-2 mark in the innaugural season of Midwest Lacrosse Conference play this pas season.
Prior to coming to Fontbonne, Silva coached at Lindenwood University where he earned his Masters degree. During his playing career at NCAA Division 1 Manhattan College in New York, NY; Silva was a 4-time All-Conference selection, his conference's Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, a two-time team captain, and also a 2003 preseason All-American.
In addition to coaching at Fontbonne, Silva assists with the St. Louis Samurai club lacrosse team. He is a native of St. Louis and graduated from Parkway West High School.
