Women's golf concludes successful 2010 spring season

The Fontbonne University women's golf team concluded their 2010 spring season with a perfect 3-0 record in match play. The Griffins defeated MacMurray College twice and Westminster College once. 

"I thought the women had a great spring season," head coach Lance Thornhill said. "Each player progressed alot individually and as a team we had a great time together."

The future for the Fontbonne women's golf program looks very bright as the Griffins graduate just one player from their 2010 roster.

"We return everybody but Brittany Watz (who graduated) so I think this team has a great amount of potential for next year," Coach Thornhill said.
