Women's Lacrosse Coach - Lea Lamatina
Lea Lamatina took over as the Fontbonne University head women’s lacrosse coach during the 2010 season. In her first year, Coach Lamatina led the Griffins to a 7-6 record.
Coach Lamatina is a recent graduate of Duquesne University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. Lamatina was a two-year starting midfielder while at Duquesne. During her four year career with the Dukes, she traveled to the Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament twice, and appearing in the finals once. Her freshman year, the team was ranked 19th in the nation out of all NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse teams.
