Women's Softball Coach - Bill Rosner

Bill Rosner was hired as the head softball coach at Fontbonne University in the Spring of 2008. In 2009, Coach Rosner’s first as Fontbonne’s head coach, he led the Griffins to a share of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship. His Griffins finished with a 21-18 overall record and a 11-3 SLIAC record. In 2010, Coach Rosner led Fontbonne to a SLIAC Tournament Championship and its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2006.

Prior to becoming Fontbonne's head coach, Coach Rosner spent several seasons as an assistant in the Griffins program. Coach Rosner spent more than four seasons as an assistant softball coach at Fontbonne from 2002-2006. During that time, Fontbonne advanced to the NCAA Division III National Softball Tournament three times. Coach Rosner spent 2007 and 2008 as the assistant softball coach at NCAA Div. I St. Louis University.
 
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Coach Rosner brings more than 15 years of club level coaching to Fontbonne. He has spent time coaching with the St. Louis Lazers, St. Louis Chaos and St. Louis Fusion. Coach Rosner attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is married with four children and resides in Bridgeton, Missouri.

Mike Akers - Associate Head Coach
Mike Akers was hired as an assistant softball coach at Fontbonne University in the summer of 2008. Coach Akers is entering his third season as an assistant. Akers brings more than 14 years of coaching/managing select softball experience to Fontbonne. Akers co-founded the St. Louis Fusion Softball Association, which fields teams in several age groups.
 
Coach Akers has an associate degree in accounting from Meramec Community College. He lives in Wildwood with his wife and has two daughters, one attends the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the other attends Fontbonne.
 
Randi Null-Davis - Assistant Coach
Null graduated from Francis Howell Central in 2000 where she was a varisty player all 4 years as well as earning all-conference honors. Null signed with Tennesse State and transfer to Missouri Baptist University in 2001 where she earned all-conference honors for 4 years. Null has been giving private pitching instruction for 6 years and coaching select softball for 5 years. She is entering her second season as the pitching coaching with the Griffins.
 
Taylor Rosner -Assistant Coach
Taylor Rosner graduated from Fontbonne in 2005 with her Bachelors degree in Business and a minor in Psychology. She played on the softball team from 2000-2005 and was 1st team all-conference in 03 and 05. Her primary responsibilities will be to work the defensive side of the ball on the infield and particularly work with first base. This is Rosner's second year as a volunteer assistant coach for the program.
